Carbon Flame Plasma

A discharge pretending to be a fire. The ring sits low and white, and convection lifts a column of hot gas and glowing carbon above it that shapes itself into a flame, taper and all. The orange is thermal light from hot particles; the teal cord showing in some vessels is molecular carbon, the same Swan bands that colour comet tails and the blue base of a gas flame.
