Chromium (Cr) in plasma

Chromium draws a hard turquoise ring inside a flask flooded deep blue. The turquoise is chromium itself showing through: its brightest lines are a tight triplet at 520 nm with more green at 533 and 541, and against a blue background that reads as cyan rather than green. In some frames the inner edge of the ring goes frankly green, which is the triplet winning outright.
