Bismuth burns blue and almost nothing else: no halo, no gradient, blue out to the glass, which makes it the most monochrome fill in the collection. That blue is bismuth's own strongest visible line at 472 nm. The violet cast laid over it is not bismuth at all, it is a KrCl excimer forming in the same vessel. In the brightest frames the ring edges into cyan and green, where bismuth's weaker yellow-green lines finally get a look in.
Activated by baking in Cl, so violet tint comes from KrCl*
